Caprese Pesto Pasta

Caprese Pesto Pasta

Toss this together quickly with pre-made pesto, or make your own using walnuts!

Ingredients
  

1 cup olive oil

1 cup raw walnuts

4 cloves of garlic

6 cups of fresh basil

½ cup of grated parmesan cheese

3/4 tsp. salt

1 pound pasta

1 can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

1 quart of grape tomatoes

Instructions
 

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Combine the first 6 ingredients (olive oil through salt) and add to the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Coat the pasta with pesto and toss in beans and tomatoes. Serve as a warm side or cold salad.
